Lightning is not the only worry we senior golfers have to worry about down here in Florida! 

Check out what happened to two carts at The Villages.

This happened at Heron 4th hole. Luckily no one was hurt. They closed that hole for a while as they cleaned it up.

These are pictures of a golf cart that got hit by the tree. It drove a golf club bag right through the floor of the golf cart.
The location is just off the 4th green of the Heron Executive Golf Course, Sunset Pointe, The Villages, FL.

The occupants of the two golf carts had just exited the carts to walk to their individual golf ball location when an enormous branch of an old live oak tree, without warning, broke away from the main trunk and crashed down on the two carts. The occupants escaped without injury. Pretty Scary!
